FW: Bottle Drive. Help!

#1.  Between now and New Years.  First we have to get notices out to houses in the area.  Families and leaders have already volunteered to cover most of the routes, but we still have 6 routes to go.  We're hoping 6 families will take on the job of delivering notices to houses in the area -- while they explore part of their own neighbourhood.  It's not a huge job -- about 1 1/2 hours for each route.  Your effort will make a big difference to the success of the bottle drive -- a really important fundraising event for the group.  If you can help, please call George Clark (598-9756) and he'll get a package of notices and a route map out to you.

 

#2.  January 3rd -- the Bottle Drive.  Come on out and be part of a great group effort!  We need help picking up bottles from porches in the area, as well as sorting and bagging all the cans and bottles that area picked up.  The bottle drive starts at 9 a.m., and continues until the job is done.  The coffee pot will be on, and there will be some light refreshments mid-day.
