Channel API

Just a quick heads up to everyone:

The dev server has been given really early access to the Channel API
for App Engine, thanks to Mike Davidson and Moishe Lettvin, two
Engineers at Google. Until the API stabilises, the dev server is
expected to break. For instance, as I try to figure out exactly how
the Channel API works, the dev server will be replaced by the Channel
API demo from Google, which is the only documentation I have to work
with at this point. I'll be slowly tweaking and hacking away until the
server is restored to working condition, but until I get a Chrome
extension online up for you guys, it's probably going to be all
broken. Sorry about that. I'll send an email when the server (1)
stabilises (on my end-- Google's will take a while, I hear) and (2)
when I have a Chrome extension that actually interfaces properly with
the server.
