Bessie Beta: Doing things differently

Hey everyone,

We're getting closer and closer to the stage where we can actually beta test the next version of 2cloud, codenamed Bessie. Bessie is different from previous releases in a lot of ways, and we're not entirely sure how people (or our servers) will react yet. Because of this, we're going to do the beta for Bessie a little bit differently this time around. Instead of throwing the software into a mailing list and praying people test it out, we're going to be doing a focused round of testing with a select few beta testers we think will put Bessie through a workout. Once that beta is done, we'll either release Bessie to the public or do a second, open beta in which everyone can participate. It really just depends in how confident we are that our initial beta caught everything.
