For any of you that don't follow the blog or the Twitter account (you really should), here's a little bit of shameless self-promotion for one of our contributors, for a contribution that hasn't even gone public yet.

Those of you who are familiar with our icon know that it looks like a six year old with a crayon drew it. That's because I made it, way back in June/July. My graphics skills are, to be nice, non-existant. A refresh was long overdue. And with plans placed and getting ready for implementation about moving to other platforms and products, the name could use a change, too. Long story short, the awesome Dylan Staley offered his time (seriously, we didn't even have to ask him, he just asked if he could re-do the icon for us). He then entered the icon he came up with (which I think is pretty darn awesome) into a design competition at his school. I'm sure you can all see where this is going.

We'll have more to announce about all of this, and can give you a full story behind it, in a few weeks, but for now Dylan would sure appreciate if you guys could take a second and rate his design (preferably highly, but whatever-- be honest!). Actually, I'd appreciate it, too. It'd be rather cool to say that our project had an award-winning design.

Thanks, and sorry for the spam. I'll keep it to a minimum, but I couldn't resist the urge to help out someone who helped us out.

Thanks,
Paddy
