29th SJG: COURT OF HONOUR & POT LUCK family gathering - Saturday, 14th June 2014

Dear Cubs and Parents

1. Our next cub meeting will be our Court of Honour & POT LUCK family gathering this Saturday at 3pm on 14th June 2014 at DBIS theatre. This will be a joint meeting with the Beavers and Scouts. 

2.  If you have prepared for the Photographer badge, please bring your presentation.

3.  Uniform requirements - All Cubs should be in full uniform.

4.  All cubs should bring along the following personal items to the meeting:
(i) a clean handkerchief;
(ii) an Octopus with stored value not less than $10;
(iii) a ballpoint pen & paper;
(iv) a bottle of water for drinking.

5.  Leaders will give a review of the past year's activities, award badges and conduct ceremonies for beavers to 'swim up' to cubs and Cubs to move up to Scouts, hand out special prizes and bid farewell to families who are leaving HK etc.   Of course a big thank you to all parents who supported us.

6.  The day is a family event, so parents please attend to learn what your Cubs have done this past term and what lies ahead for them in the next. Bring your camera!

7.  POT LUCK gathering after court of honour - please bring food to contribute and to share with all others. We will be sharing food and drinks with everyone (just like last year) in the school cafeteria, starting at 4:30 pm.

The SJG will provide drinks (non-alcoholic for those in uniform).

To be environmentally friendly, Cubs please also bring your re-usable/camping plates, eating utensils and mugs.

NOTE: Dolphin Watch is still on schedule for Sunday 22 June. If you and your family plan to attend and haven't already paid, please bring a cheque and the permission form this Saturday to confirm your place.
