Dear Cubs & Parents
We have organized a rare opportunity for Cubs to experience a day on the “Haun” – Adventure Ship, Hong Kong's first sailing and nautical training program. The Huan is a floating classroom for young people and carries trainees of different background to help youths get into touch with the sea and provides a platform for them to learn, challenge themselves, and to cooperate with others. It is not easy to arrange for such an outing, so do take up this opportunity to join.

WHERE and WHEN to meet: 9:00 AM - Jumbo Pier at Shum Wan Pier Drive, Aberdeen*
WHERE and WHEN to end: 4:30 PM - Jumbo Pier at Shum Wan Pier Drive, Aberdeen*
*Parents – should help to arrange amongst themselves to take groups of Cubs from Discovery Bay and/or Tung Chung. This will be left to the arrangement of Cub parents.
WHAT TO WEAR: Orange outing T-shirt, neck scarf, blue SJD Cap, sports shoes
WHAT TO BRING ALONG:
Swimming costumes
Big towel
Sun screen
Hat
Sandals or rubber shoes
Change of clothing (T-shirt & shorts)
Waterproof jacket
Lunch & snacks
Water bottle (drinking water available on board)
Clean handkerchief
Octopus with stored value not less than $20
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Valuables
Shower lotion / shampoo
Mobile phones
Audio equipment

Cubs must be 9 years old (as of the 8th of June 2014) and must have a stamped sea activity log, meaning they must have passed the swimming test.
Cost is $400 and a non-refundable payment and signed permission slip is required by no later than 24 May 2014 – otherwise there is No guarantee that a place will be available. Please give these to a uniform leader.
