Trip will be canceled ONLY if after 7:00 am on the trip day – there is Black or Red rain or Typhoon 3 signal or above.

Dropped off 9:00 AM - “Wong Chuk Hang Jumbo Pier” at Shum Wan Pier Drive, Aberdeen

Picked up: 4:30 PM - “Wong Chuk Hang Jumbo Pier” at Shum Wan Pier Drive, Aberdeen

We will take a sampan (small boat) and then take a step ladders up to the Huan. So please wear good shoes.

Cubs to bring lunch and snacks, and also a copy of your Hong Kong ID or Passport – same details you gave for your health declarations.

There are a few spaces left. If any cubs or parents – not currently confirmed – would like to go please let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to accommodate you.

Option for hiring bus to and from Pier 3:

We are looking at hiring a bus that would go from Pier 3 (at 8:15 AM) to Wong Chuk Hang Jumbo Pier return back (at 4:30 PM) to Pier 3 – for those who would like this service.

The cost for the bus is separate from the fee for the Huan.

This would be “user-pay” and we can book the bus if enough people want and pay for it. We estimate that it would be $100 per person. Same price for either one way or return trip.

Please let me know if you are interested in our arranging for a bus. If enough people are interested we will request payment (by check or cash in envelope marked with cubs name) by the meeting on 31 May.
