Hi All,

Sorry for not chiming in earlier. I was running around all day and didn't have time for email.

I bought two possible outer rings for the dial and will bring them tomorrow. I also bought some colored film. It was the best I could find in my travels today.

Of the designs Caroline sent out, I prefer the dots and then suns 1 and 2.

My husband just took a look and suggested that if we go with the sun kind of idea, it would be beautiful to have the sun be a small dim light in the middle of the dial during low consumption, but then it gets bigger and angrier with increasing consumption. I think this is an interesting idea, though it means that the more energy used, the more energy the device consumes...unless we use a mechanical device that controls the quantity of light that shines through with an aperture.

As for meeting tomorrow, I suggest that anyone who can make it come at 3:10 tomorrow, and do the same on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, I have class from 2-3 and then I need to leave campus for the rest of the day. I could meet very briefly at 1:30 if necessary, but to get to my class I will have to leave at about 1:45 because my 2 PM class is in the far NW corner of campus.
