Subject: Haoran Tong's submission for 'Abstract Life, Abstract Love' anthology
To: dr.Fab

Dear Dr. Fab,

I am Haoran (Henry) Tong  writing to you for joining the anthology titled "Abstract Life, Abstract Love". I have received the google group invitation and it is my honor to participate again. I fully understand and agree to the terms in copyright disclaimer mentioned below. I authorize you to publish my poems in the ebook at no cost and without any obligation other than to publish the poems selected.

"The copyright of the poems will remain in the hands of their Authors, but all Participants will accept to make us free to publish the ebook at no cost and without any other obligation on our part than to publish the poems selected (the acceptance of this point will be attested, by each Participant, by simply sending their poems). To make it clear: by submitting their poems the Authors agree to grant non-exclusive world rights to Fabrizio Frosini and 'Poets Unite Worldwide' for publishing the submitted poems in books, without fee, so long as the Authors are credited --this does not prevent the Authors from publishing their poems anytime, anywhere, by themselves, or from granting others the right to do so."

Here is my submission (unpublished before).

Tea with Cherry Blossoms

I stand under the tree and make tea with cherry blossoms.

I gaze at the cloud dyed with its fragrance,

for every night light rain lands around your feet.

Willing to hold a paper umbrella in the drought of the North,

for miles, I deliver the message of spring to the floating dust.

Your face is the warmth that spring rain shall bring to me.

Subtlety beyond the five senses I have never received

Looking for your shadow, a place to enjoy my heart's coolness

where the crows flew from their spring nests after dusk.

You are trembled to see it coming, to see sprouts emerge

in the acidic soil: you've asked me to plant a miracle in the sands--

"Now please save the entire spring from fading", you say.

I've taken the last train that loads ten years of sunsets,

heading to the stars for the galaxy brimmed with cherry petals

so you may have dreamed of the rosy tint of dawn.

Closer to the black hole, I've left you with a gentle kiss

as the fragrance flew with the twisted time and space

like all footprints of love that vanish in the darkness.

Thank you, Dr. Fab. I hope my submission isn’t too late.

H.T.
