This is my unpublished poem for the anthology.

Love in distance

I have heard of love from you, 

your devoted actions for love, 

how from far away your prayer are answered,

and the distance for the wish doesn't matter. 

I have seen of love in you, 

how you write about it in your diary.

The way you describe the desires of your heart,

and the way you look at your love.

I have seen those teary eyes,

how your soul cries 

and I have felt the way 

you look at the stars and the moon,

and the waves across the oceans.

It is that far where your love resides.

It is only that close to you.
