ABOUT TOO MANY GREAT PRAYERS
My only prayers ever slowly became so great,
I am afraid of them and also ashamed too.
I hope to be the fallen leaf you kindly push away
From the path with your caring ever fresh feet
Lest all the others tread upon me heartlessly.
I wish to be passively present with a smile
In one of your modest memories alive for eternity.
I even aspire to be your teardrop, knowing well
It happens only when you wish for own sadness
For you are absolutely blissful, beyond everything,
You may wish anything and thine wish will be done.
My Dearest, my only prayers ever slowly became so great,
I am afraid of them now and also ashamed too.
