Kindly find the following items to assist during the upcoming 21 days of Prayers and Fasting for the Parish leading to the Easter season.
a) Schedule of Districts Prayer Day
b) Schedule of Districts Prayer Items
c) Template for you to fill the name, email and mobile contacts for person assigned to pick, host and deliver back the Prayer torch starting this Thursday evening with District 1 & 2 and District 4 to pick on Friday
All Parish Ministers to uphold all districts throughout the 21 day period.
The type of fasting we shall observe is partial fasting (i.e. no food just water only). For persons on Medication to kindly proceed with their eating plan and medication uninterrupted.
Below find the proposed plan of undertaking this process
Now the Prayer Torch was launched on Sunday in PCEA St Andrews Parish to be used during the 21 days of Prayer and Fasting by each district as per schedule circulated earlier.
1. Now each District shall nominate two people who shall be responsible for collection, hosting the torch and delivery back of the prayer Torch in Church in Mcleven Chapel.
2. The arrangement is that collection is done on at 530pm on the eve before the District is scheduled to pray returned the following day by 530pm on their prayer day for the next District to pick.
3. Person responsible for the same task will pray together during hand over of Torch in McLeven Chapel
4. Each District will take responsibility to recharge the Torch so it remains alight all through.
Kindly send me names, email and mobile numbers of persons you wish to nominate who will take responsibility for the Torch for your district
The Ag Church Administrator Elder Crispus Karingithi will assist coordination of Torch in Church grounds
