How to teach prounanciation?

recently,many studends ask me about how to read the words and
expressions or sentence.before I told them the pronanciation of some
words or sentence,I Asked some of them to read it by themselvers.As a
result,I can't understand what they read or what they say.so this time
,I want to do something differeent. I also want to talk something about
the prounanciayion teaching.
fist, there is a old teaching way in china. every mornning,the
studends sat in the classroom waiting for the teacher'come. they begin
to read the words after the teacher when the teacher is here.
andthen the teacher ask some studends to recite it , or just to read it
over and over again. after that they will listen to these words that
have learened. and the teacher check it out at last.
