Hi all - Just letting you know that we are packing up our travel trailer in the driveway. Looks quiet, but if you need to get out and we’re blocking you in, just shoot us a text at 720-338-2528 and we can get everything moved around. We will be out in less than an hour. Thanks!--

Hi all. Following up here. 

What does the group want to do with the grass? The yard guys reached out to me about spring clean up months ago, but have otherwise been mum on service this year. 1210 thinks the yard is too far gone and is in favor of putting down new sod and changing service companies. We could have the sprinkler system looked at as well during the work. And we could also revisit the fence. Obviously this will all matter for the sale of 1212, which I’m sure will be pending soon, so probably makes sense for us to all catch up live over zoom - it’s been to long since we all connected anyway! Would that work foe the group?

Yes!  The yard looks like a disaster.   I opened the valve for sprinkler last week and it completely flooded our yards so I closed it again.  I can round up sprinkler repair man from last year.  I don’t think lawn is too far gone.  Needs a weed and feed. Lawerence side might need more help.   I’m down there next Tuesday - Friday.  Let me know how to help. 

Joe’s Liquor sale closed yesterday.  The family kind of filled us in on what is planned - variance for whole block down to Port Side for five stories.  We should definitely zoom and figure where we stand on that.  Developers are supposed to release news soon

Ok for 1210!  I'll see if I can get someone to mow the yard before then unless others have contacts, preferably local.  I'd prefer not to work with Malcolm again - I like that he's a local guy running a small business out of our neighborhood, but I think we should try someone else.

All good with us. The little ones will start dragging us towards bed at around 7:15, but we should be OK until then.

Also, we're under contract now, and will (hopefully!) close on June 11. Happy to do our part until the final papers are signed.

All - Some folks are coming by to do the grass today for $150 bucks (I know, but that’s the price for a onetime double cut, apparently). Let’s discuss what to do with the grass when we talk on the 25th. I should have one sod quote by then. 

I’ll send a cal invite and zoom login out for that too later today. 

Looking forward to discussing. 

Jen - Can you turn on the water? Or do we think the sprinklers are cracked suck that we can’t turn the water on at all?

I’ll be there Tuesday and will turn water on and deal with any flooding with guy who fixed it last year.    It was really bad when I was down last so I don’t want to do it without constant monitoring as water was starting to flow and pool toward ground floor rooms/doors.    I’ll keep you posted.

Ok. Weird. That suggest to me that we have a big broken pipe. Let’s discuss Tuesday, but thinking it makes sense to reside and redo the sprinkler system too.

Sorry, Jen, but I can't do wednesday at 630 - i have an in-person work event that night.  What's best for everyone? We can make time Monday or Tuesday day or night.  

Also, please venmo me your portion of the 150 we spent on the grass yesterday if you think that's a fair price (know we didn't run it by everyone; pulled the trigger in the interest of time so pay what you think is fair).

Input : Perhaps an easement for light and air can be filed by everyone concerning the 5 story building that limits a developer from building a structure that would block what is the last view of mountains, which could decrease property value.

Spinklers are fixed and on as of tomorrow.  $100.  Hose bib will be on too.      Broke because they did not fully blow out the system and it froze and exploded at my corner.    My new best friend Richard the sprinkler man left a few pink flags on top of control box in the side yard that we can use to mark any problems we see and he will come back and fix it.    

I can’t believe I stumbled upon him as everyone was weeks out!    You have Pinto and Bubbles my dogs to thank as they made friends with him on their morning walk.   Really nice guy.    I am asking his co workers for lawn mowing bid.   


College kids are working on our privacy issues with communication.   They suggest an app.   Is everyone app friendly?   I run my life on my phone/apps so I’m good with that.  Stay tuned.

As for our items from the last call,

1 - Never heard back from the lawn guy on sod…

2 - our wood floor guy that we loved apparently packed up and moved to North Carolina 

3 - I think last year’s sprinkler guy is moot since the new person seems awesome.

It was $100 so let’s just call it even for now.

 Computer nerd says he thinks we will be happiest just to change setting to private rather than set up something new.  Agreed.  Only the owner of the google account can do that and they can archive past stuff.   So who owns it?    Gage sent me pic of screen where you do that but  he is happy to have someone call him and walk thru it.      So who set this up/ owns it?  

 Still working on lawn services.  Man it is tough out there.   I keep getting same answer...all of our employees disappeared.
