Hello everybody,

i run kazoo with no issuse totally on bare metal.
I would like to migrate to the cloud and i was wondering if someone of us can share what are the best providers and instance type (general purpose, memory optimized, cpu optimized, etc)  and run kamailio and expecially freeswitch with a good call quality (even with opus to g711 transcoding).

Thanks in advance

Any KVM provider will work.  Just remember that you want one zone in one datacenter otherwise it won't work very well.

Hi,

i was watching the live @voipusers with Darren (very interesting!):

VUC650 - 2600hz - Kazoo with Darren Schreiber

I saw there was a talk about the comparison between iaas paas and saas for kazoo. @Darren, is it possible to share eventually it with the community?

Thanks a lot

SaaS is using our hosted platform: http://www.2600hz.com/hosted-platform

For PaaS/IaaS: http://www.2600hz.com/global-infrastructure

Any option is also compatible with 2600Hz Mobile: http://www.2600hz.com/2600Hz-mobile

So you can offer mobile phones, data-only, bundle desk and mobile
phones, in-browser phones (webrtc), softphones...whatever makes you
getting the sale easier.

Hosted is the easiest to get started with - sign up and get selling! We
can always migrate you to your own cluster when it makes sense for your
scale or business needs.

If you want to talk in more detail, drop a line to our sales team at
sa...@2600hz.com and they can answer all your questions!

Back in KazooCon 2015 there was talk about lower cost support packages for PaaS/IaaS customers. Did this get nixed due to support costs for 2600hz or is that still an option for the little guys using open source? I know sales would be the more appropriate channel, however I know you and Darren read Google Groups and have always wanted to encourage the little guys to grow.
