Under the Account Carriers section of Winkstart, there is an option to either user "2600hz as my phone company" or to "use a different carrier" for outbound/inbound calls. If one was planning on sell Whistle and Winkstart as a managed service, what would be the best way to provide trunks to customers? I've read a little about the "trunk store" facility of Whistle but haven't managed to find any concrete information explaining what it actually is and how it works. Am I able to associate the "Use 2600hz as my phone company option" with a range of DIDs as a way to provide on demand inbound and outbound access to the PSTN? If so, where do I configure such trunks?

Hi Paul,
I haven't had time to update this ticket/email. I was hoping to do a full write-up on trunkstore. I'll let you know when I have time to do that but basically it's a service to allow people to resell SIP trunks.

As for "Use 2600hz as my phone company option" that's just the new way to select global resources. You can change the name that appears there in config/config.js – it's called company_name .
