Hi all:

I'm having trouble finding where to get the kazoo provisioner add-on to my kazoo cluster.  I'd like to be able to support phone provisioning, and I found some references to repo packages for kazoo-provisioner, but those don't appear to be in the repos anymore.  I found a few references online to it existing and being available, but can't actually find anything usable anywhere anymore.

I've seen people talk about it on the IRC channel, but again, no details on how to get it.

How / where do I get and add on provisioning support to kazoo?

Thanks!

Hi there,
We took down the old provisioner because it was ripe with performance, stability and some security issues. We kept telling people that and they used it anyway. I’m totally not OK with using a faulty product and perpetuating security and stability issues across the internet. I know that frustrated some people, but that’s where we’re at.

For the past 12 months we’ve been working on a better version, but it’s taken forever and isn’t released yet. When we do release it, it has taken so much effort, we are probably going to make it one of the first apps in our app store. That is my thought process right now, since it’s been a very expensive proposition in the end. But, we do have a replacement coming, and it was demo’d live at KazooCon just last week. Most people were pretty happy with it.

So that’s the scoop for now.

Hi Darren,
I installed monster-ui with all apps that are available in github. When I am trying to create a Device SIP Phone, I get an error about provisioner. How can I overcome this?

Hi Theo,

it is easy.

Just get to browser console, find out the line which gives you this error and comment it out in source code. :)

Kirill

Hi Kirill,
yes I confirm that it works now.
So you have to go to the following config file:
/var/www/html/monster-ui/js/config.js
and make the line
to

Thank you for the assistance.

Any updates on the release of the official 2600hz provisioner?

Are there any news on this ??
From what I can understand the feature is available on your hosted version.

Could it maybe be an App that could be bought for us having our own infrastructure and platforms ??

Thanks
/Michael

Hi there,
The new provisioner is basically in the final stage of beta. People are still finding a bunch of little quirks with it but otherwise it looks pretty good. We wanted to finish a major security enhancement to it before really publicly releasing it.

Right now it's being tested across multiple clusters and we're working on a sign-up strategy for it. I would say within a month we should have it in a state where it is available as a paid add-on.

Great,
Thanks for the reply Darren.

I haven't seen the plans or any demo of this yet, but will there be possibility to add other vendors products ?
I work for Gigaset pro, and would love to contribute with provisioning templates, firmware files etc. to the platform for all of our products.

Also will it be possible to integrate an API to vendors Redirect services, like XML-RPC ??? Here I can also provide documentation for our redirect service.

Thanks
/Michael
