Hello

1) I am working to configure BLF on Cisco SPA504G. Tried lots of things. I got clue of setting BLF list URI from the link (http://sbkb.cisco.com/CiscoSB/GetArticle.aspx?docid=fae30060b55e48ec8fe456a9e79ecb8e_Configuration_of_Attendant_Console_General_Settings_on_the_S.xml&pid=2&converted=0) but the way they have mentioned it, it didn't worked like that. Anyone can guide me how to configure BLF settings.

2) Secondly Is manual Presence used for BLF?  If yes, what are the steps to use manual presence in Kazoo.
Please let me Know.

Thanks

Hi,

On a 525G, but should work on a 504G, we use the following settings:

In the admin interface (advanced mode):

On the Voice -> Phone tab in the applicable line key set:

Extension: disabled
Share call appeareance: private
Extended function: fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=SIP.USERNAME.OF....@ACCOUNT.REALM;nme=CALLFLOW

SIP.USERNAME.OF.DEVICE.TO.MONITOR is the username for the device you want to monitor
ACCOUNT.REALM is the realm of the account
CALLFLOW is the number you want as a speed dial when you push the button

Furthermore, make sure you set the server type to Asterisk on the Att. Console tab (even though, no attendent console is attached!).

If you use manual presence, you replace the username of the device you want to monitor with the value you used when creating the manual presence object.
The phone will then monitor the manual presence object.

Regards,
Remco.

Hello

I tried the settings you mentioned but it didn't worked.
Settings I did is admin > advanced > phone

I am doing settings on line extention 4

  Extension : Disabled
  Short Name : Test
  Share Call Appearance : private
  Extended Function :fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=te...@paridhi.xyz.com;nme=1002

Then admin > advanced >Attendant Console

  Server Type : Asterisk

Now when I call device to device 1001 -----> 1002, the VOIP phone should show the status of the phone because we have used extention 1002 in extended function  that is busy. But Line extention 4 is not responding even not on normal calls.
Does someone knows about it?

Hello

I have tried lots of things but didn't get any luck. So, as per  my view there should be a setting in kazoo, I am not sure just my assumption. Can anyone tell me
Whether I am right? If yes, please let me know what will be the settings in kazoo and how it will work with BLF Cisco SPA504G?

Thanks
