Hey list

I presume the thought on jitterbuffers is that the UA's would implement their own and therefore no jitterbuffers are enabled on the freeswitch side.  For UA's (namely Cisco 79xx phones) that have no jitterbuffer, is there anything to account for this sort of thing within Kazoo? I know freeswitch can enable/disable/modify jitterbuffer settings in the bridge string that gets generated by ecallmgr.  Having a 'compatability mode' toggle that turns this on per user / device / account would be interesting.

Any thoughts on that?

I'm not aware of any jitterbuffer settings in the PBX connector.  There IS a compatability mode toggle in the PBX connector, but that is related to media handling (staying in the media path, or out of it), its not related to jitterbuffers.

Hi,

i'm very interested on this topic. Since i have lot of mobile clients registered it would be great to set up dynamic jitterbuffer like is possible on FS dial string.

Did you discover something about it?

Thanks in advance
