Migrated to v4, now appstore is frozen

So I have built out a new v4 cluster and then migrated the v3 database via clone and ran the two commands after the clone that Darren mentioned in a past post. Everything seems to be ok except for the app store.

When I log in, the appstore is opened due to no apps be turned "on" on the account. When I select an app and flip the switch to on, kazoo just sits there spinning. It never turns on the app.

Am I missing something post migration?

Did you run the init_apps command with a valid API? What’s in the browser’s console?

Yes sir I did.

When I built the new v4 cluster, I created a super admin account and int the apps. Under that super account, the app store still works. It just doesn't work under any account that I moved over.

When I open console in Chrome, I get errors regarding whitelabel, logo, icon and braintree.

I also get an error Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys

When I click on an app and switch to on and hit save, it just spins in the top right and nothing new in the console.

The Google Maps thing should be ignorable. There has to be something else. Error regarding Braintree MIGHT be relevant.

 

I’m not sure what else to look at, perhaps someone else on the list has ideas.

Don't think it's braintree because the same error occurs with the orig super admin account for v4, but those apps work.

Have you checked the Network tab as well for like 404s or similar errors? Past that I’m sort of out of ideas on what to check, can’t think of much that would make the UI just not show any apps at all unless they’re not initialized properly.

I think I may be on to something.

So I looked at the account db for my migrated account. Under the app Account Manager, there is a api_url field and the value has the old api set. Should I update the value to new API and restart kazoo to see if it fixes that app? Or is there a way to run a sup command to remove all apps from an account and start fresh?

Well the API import sup command should have  fixed that, can you show the complete output of that command?

Perhaps your DNS cache is resolving mypbxv4.domain to the old IP?

It has the correct one under the orig v4 account, but all of the v3 accounts has the old api. Even after updating it manually on a v3 account, it still doesn't work. I'm going to blow up the database and start over. I'll keep you posted!

So I have it working. Maybe we can document this somewhere regarding migrating?

This was the only way I was able to make it work.

Setup the v4 cluster, but do NOT create any accounts and do NOT int apps.

Start Kazoo and let it create the 20+ databases and import the audio.

Once that is complete, clone your database from v3 to v4.

Once completed, run sup kapps_maintenance migrate_to_4_0 and sup kazoo_number_manager_maintenance migrate 

After that, int your apps.

I was then able to login with my account and all worked fine with the app store.

Not sure if this happened with anyone else, but this was my problem :)

Now time to test v4 :) :)
