Windows 11 update breaking Audio and printer support.

A recent windows 11 update has been removing support and/or breaking sound card drivers this month.
It also seems to break shared printers unless you map directly to a windows share path  (example net use lpt2: \\oldpc\oldprinter)  in some scenarios.

It is not a case of enabling the certified printers only option (windows protected print mode) but the PC seems to behave like it has been enabled when it is not after this update.    

I get the feeling Microsoft is trying to sneakily sabotage computers not in their bribed by vendor.. i mean "approved" hardware list, and is trying to slip "S mode" functionality back in to the live release in anticipation for their windows 365 dumb terminal release after 11 they hope to get people using so it forces everyone to pay rent on their own computer, and it can be enforced, since the computer itself is just a thin client and their real OS will be stored in Microsoft cloud.  

One step closer to holding your data even more for ransom than onedrive/bitlocker already does.

There was some news coverage about Microsoft deliberately sabotaging some Dell computer models; which is likely because windows at one point was originally compiled on dell workstations, which tended to mean some Dells always had all the windows drivers baked in natively since the 90s - and they probably want to obsolete PCs that can run windows 11 just fine, but they want to force people to buy new ones.

This is the world we live in now apparently.
