Any suggestions of how to get MSCDEX to load or of where I can find
such information?
Thanks very much.

If I eliminate MSCDEX from autoexec.bat, I am able to boot, but if I
then attempt to load MSCDEX from the command line, I hang the
computer.
I have tried loading MSCDEX with the same types of parameters that you
have listed, except I followed the CD recorder manufacturer's
recommendation of using /M:4. What would the effect be of using
/M:32?
Thanks again.

I have tried loading MSCDEX from an autoexec.bat file on the boot
floppy, with MSCDEX itself being on the boot floppy. Alternatively, I
have tried giving the full path to the MSCDEX copy on the C: drive.
In both cases, the computer hangs instead of loading MSCDEX.
If I don't try loading MSCDEX, the computer boots into DOS, but then
cannot read from the CD-R.
I would appreciate any further suggestions. Thanks!

Neither the Microsoft mouse driver nor Microsoft's MSCDEX.EXE would
load under IBM PC DOS.
When I created a boot disk from Windows 95, installing MS-DOS, both
the mouse driver and MSCDEX.EXE loaded correctly.
