Hey Everyone,
The Advent season is around the corner and we are again looking for 6-8 people that can assist the ladies with the setup for the Advent By Candlelight event Saturday 11/26 starting at 12:00pm at Parish Halls A thru C, and then cleanup on Sunday 11/27 around 8:15pm. If you are available to assist with either the setup or cleanup (or both), please contact Jonas Enriquez at jonas.m...@gmail.com and/or 314.413.0125. The ladies would absolutely appreciate it.
Following are items they will need help with. The committee ladies will also be present and can certainly provide further guidance.
We typically setup similar to most year's configuration and may adjust based on the ladies needs.
(Arrive at Sat 11/26 at 12:00pm):
1. All sections of the dividing wall needs to be pushed back.
2. Four sections of the stage need to be set up between the storage doors and the exit to the hall by the Meyer rooms.
3. Round tables need to be set up three to four deep (whatever works!). This is from stage to kitchen.
4. We think that you will have 10 - 12 tables set up from Hall C to Hall A (but we don't want to get too close to doors).
5. Each table gets 8 chairs except that about five across the back get 10 (on the kitchen side, but ladies will let us know).
6. Rectangular tables need to be set up along the kitchen wall, the space available on the walls on the
same side as the stage, somewhere in hall C – likely lined up in front of where the stage usually is, and then two over at the glass doors.
Cleanup (Arrive at Sun 11/29 at 8:15pm):
Restore Halls A,B, & C back to their original configuration with a few tables left up in Hall C.
