By this, HRA foregone also will be considered as rent recovered and tax on perquisites will become negative (nil).

At Sr Manager level, we would be saving Rs.50000/- per year. 

But, I think without clear instructions from Corporate Finance, disbursing officers at unit level (unit payroll section) will not do anything about it. :-(
