So it has been a year now since the Gold Finder 2000 by Nokta has come out. The advertising on the box talks it up pretty well and the price point is within most other VLF gold detectors. What I find interesting is the lack of success posts, photos and or stories. There is a pretty good Promo on it right now, but maybe that's because sales of said unti are not doing well? Also, this detector could be region related. As with the GM-1000, it was never intended for the US, but we wanted "turn on and go".

I'd be surprised if anyone on the forum has one. Most people probably don't know it exists. I expect performance would be similar to other Nokta/Makro 61 kHz models like the Gold Kruzer. But mainly I think we have reached the point with dedicated single high frequency nugget hunters that it's all pretty ho hum, same half dozen or the other type stuff. The tech is rather well beat to death now. What I'm more interested in is a multi made 100% for nugget detecting. Look how well the Equinox does on gold as a multipurpose detector, and almost as an accident at that. I can only imagine a Multi-IQ detector made specifically for nugget detecting from the ground up. Or the Nokta version of what they have with Legend, but again, nuggets only. I do think single frequency is in effect obsolete at this point. Not that it does not work, just that the future is elsewhere.

I had it on good authority not to buy one when I asked about buying it. The person was disappointed with it compared to other options on the market in our conditions here. I was told just buy one of the more versatile Nokta 61kHz detectors like the Gold Kruzer If I want to buy a Nokta gold prospecting detector, far better value for the money with better performance overall and far more features.

The high 61kHz search frequency is notably higher than the competition giving the gold finder an edge on sensitivity to fine gold. The simplified controls and automatic ground balancing make the Gold Finder 2000 extremely simple to use!"

This work presents a computerized method to identify, detect, evaluate, and, by colored overlay, present gold particle pairs in electron microscopy (EM), even in wide-field views. Double gold immunolabeled specimens were analyzed in a LEO 912 electron microscope equipped with a 2k x 2k-pixel slow-scan cooled CCD camera connected to a computer with analySIS 3.1 PRO image processing software. The acquisition of a high-resolution and high-dynamic-range image by the camera allowed correct segmentation of the gold particles, separating them from other cell structures and from the substrate. Particle identification was performed by a classification module designed by us. Based on shape and size, the computer recognized the group of small particles and classified them as either singular or clustered and differentiated these from the single bigger type. The final image shows the particle types separated and colored, and indicates the total number of objects encountered in the specific region of interest. Moreover, a montage tool allowed us to obtain final representative images of large microscopic fields, which on analysis by the Gold Finder module provided information on the distribution and localization of antigens comparable to that provided by the wide-field light microscope images.

With its robust design and its simplicity, the Gold Finder 2000 will be your best friend in the gold fields. With its 61KHz search frequency, it is extremely sensitive to the smallest gold nuggets, but large nuggets are also no problem. The Gold Finder 2000 works with a turn-on & go operation and is therefore one of the simplest detectors in our range.

This mini device detects gold and treasures from long distances through the newly developed Long range Locator system at BR Systems. When you turn on this device and choose the metal to be detected, the device will start directing you towards the detected targets in the area, through the front sensor guidance feature in the device, which is integrated with the technology of visible radar signals on the screen, in addition to the audio signal until it reaches you to the target center.

This system is characterized by the speed of tracking targets from long distances of up to 2000 m, and this is done with high capture accuracy and 99% correct orientation, It works in all different types of terrain and on all types of dry or wet soils, BR Systems has been working for ten years to develop and update long-range detection systems and reach the best and most effective techniques in discovering gold and treasures from long distances, through permanent experiments on the ground, so that its products are always at the forefront and most widely used by prospectors around the world.

The ionic tracking system can only detect gold buried underground, without other metals, Through this system, golden treasures buried underground can be detected easier and faster, You can find potential targets in the area by operating this system and walking with it for a short time until the device starts sending signals in the soil based on stimulating the ionic fields formed around the buried gold, and the interactive process begins between the signals sent from the device and issued by the buried gold metal until the device issues signals Sound alerts, indicating the discovery of a golden target in the area.

Dennis Parada waged a legal battle to force the FBI to turn over records of its excavation in Dents Run, Pennsylvania, where local lore says an 1863 shipment of Union gold disappeared on its way to the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. The FBI, which went to Dents Run after sophisticated testing suggested tons of gold might be buried there, has long insisted the dig came up empty.

Parada and his advisers, who have spent countless hours poring over the newly released government records, believe otherwise. They accuse the FBI of distorting key evidence and improperly withholding records in an apparent effort to conceal the recovery of a historic, extremely valuable gold cache. The FBI defends its handling of the materials.

He and his son spent years looking for the fabled gold of Dents Run, eventually guiding the FBI to a remote woodland site 135 miles (220 kilometers) northeast of Pittsburgh where they say their instruments identified a large quantity of metal. The FBI brought in a geophysical consulting firm whose sensitive equipment detected a 7- to 9-ton mass suggestive of gold.

Goldfinder is a 2001 autobiography of British diver and treasure hunter Keith Jessop. It tells the story of Jessop's life and salvaging such underwater treasures as HMS Edinburgh, one of the greatest deep sea salvage operations and most financially rewarding in history.[1]

Later that year, on 30 August, the dive-support vessel Stephaniturm journeyed to the site, and salvage operations began in earnest. Leading the operation undersea, by mid-September of that year Jessop was able to salvage over $100,000,000 in Russian gold bullion (431 bars) from the wreck out of 465 over several days making him the greatest underwater treasurer in history.

Low vs high frequency metal detectors serve different purposes based on target size and depth. Low-frequency detectors (3-7 kHz) penetrate deeper and are ideal for finding large, high-conductivity metals like silver and relics. In contrast, high-frequency detectors (15-40 kHz) are more sensitive to small, low-conductivity objects like gold nuggets but have less depth penetration. Choosing the right frequency depends on the type of treasure and ground conditions.
