From Devilfish Ink: Many local businesses have set up individual donation sites, but as the owner of Devilfish Ink, Graphic Arts & Printing, I wanted to create a way to benefit all of our struggling local businesses with no cost to the business owners and very little commitment of time.
 
The Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District (BID) has joined us to support our Social Distancing awareness drive, now we need your help! Devilfish Ink created a custom graphic to be printed on tees and performance workout gear to raise funds and awareness and unite our community, all with a bit of much needed levity. These Social Distanting Champ garments featuring a Pufferfish as our mascot will be available for purchase via our website, www.devilfishink.com with the option to direct donations to a specific participating businesss.
 
We are offering a 50/50 split of the proceeds with Devilfish Ink covering 100% of the production costs. The garments will be available in the choice of black or white and 2 different styles. For every 100% soft ringspun cotton tee sale (designated for your business) with a $24 donation per garment , you will receive $12. 100% polyester moisture wicking and stain/odor resistant garments will require a $28 donation with any specified businesses receiving $14 per.
 
All you have to do is say, “ Of course I want to participate!” and provide us with contact information to arrange for donation collection. We will provide all participating businesses with marketing materials for use on social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram), your website, or emails to help drive sales free of charge or you can create your own. The more sales designated for your business, the more funds you receive.
 
There is no limit to donations that your business can receive and orders will be printed for weekly deliveries starting Wednesday April 22, 2020.
 
We already have the support of BID and neighborhood cornerstones like Philadelphia Brewing Company and Johnny Brendaʼs, but the more business participating, the more opportunity for all of us. Hopefully we can count you in too!
