I have a second cousin who has Male Haplogroup R-M405, and my Male Haplogroup is R-A19. We share a common great-grandfather, and each of us is connected to our great-grandfather only through male ancestors. How is it possible we have different haplogroups? It seems to me that either the haplogroup determination is not precise, or there is undocumented (undisclosed) paternity. Are there other possibilities?
