I know many of you keep in touch actively
but sometimes we do not see one another
except in happenstance.

Since I Saw You is a popular newspaper heading,
I thought I'd start with:

I Saw You . . .

Spotted TickGirl (Heidi) at Fast Forward
for the Mad Rollin' Dolls Roller Derby.

How about you?

How many sightings have you had
and though "Wow, I've missed seeing them around?"

My location negates much bumping into folks.

However, my first year in Japan (5 years ago) I did run into Mikey
Staley (Macavity) on an escalator at Kinokunia book store, Shinjuku.

I seem to always run into Beeliners in Airports.

Some of the last spottings I've had were Catseye at the Madison
Airport, and I think I recall running into Maverick at like... crap I
can't even remember, Chicago Ohare or Detroit?

Other than that the only Beeline spottings I've had in like 8 years
were going to the Dark Side and bugging Cheese when he worked
there. :)

I saw Chocolate (Susie Keller) at LAX a few years ago. We were in
separate lines waiting to go through security, and I was going to talk
to her after we got on the other side but she was gone. It looked like
she was with some dude (husband?), so she probably wasn't nuts about
re-hashing the past. [Actually, I think she was just on the Bee Hive,
never the Bee Line.]

I did actually look around Portland International and O'Hare
as I went out to Portland and back this last week, but saw no one.
If anything I feel sort of in a condensed Willy Street/Atwood/Monona
Drive
in the Irvington Neighborhood I live in.

I'm half expecting I'll go to Powell's bookstore mid-summer when I
drive out
and run into people there more than the airport.

Oh Powell's.. sweet sweet bookish nirvana. I was just in Madison this
weekend and hit up Half-Price because there are no good bookstores in
Green Bay. Barnes and Noble does not count.

I saw Craig on the Terrace two years ago. Of anyone, I've probably
seen John (Peter Pan) the most. Unless people come up here for Packers
games, the odds are slim I'll see anyone.

I think it's been over a decade since I've randomly run into a
beeliner. But we have a temp that started on Monday that makes me do
a double take every time he walks past. He's a little bit shorter and
scruffier, but other than that he could be Bee's twin. (Or at least
could have been Bee's twin a decade ago.) So Craig, if you have a
brother in the Twin Cities who's an analytical chemist, he's at our
mercy now. ;)
