There are so many misunderstandings about Muslim women in Western
society that Yasmin Qureshi MP has agreed to host a meeting in the
House of Commons on this topic. We hope to look at

• The positive role Muslim women play in our society
• Look at some positive role models
• Discuss dress, culture and women's rights
• Understand what equality means in a diverse and multicultural society

We have some interesting speakers at this meeting including Dr Shaheen
Chaudhry JP The High Sheriff of Bristol, Rabia Bhatti, the Youngest
Elected Muslim Female Politician in the United Kingdom and Bashan
Rafique Chair person of the All Pakistan Women Association.

This meeting is being organised by GlobalNet21 and TVApex and we hope
to associate this event with some interviews and material on Internet
TV.

This is a really important and topical issue about equality and
empowerment in a multi cultural society and we would love you to join
