The latest news from ACARA is that the Australian Curriculum:
Geography Shape Paper is to be released this Friday (January 28th).
Should be an interesting few months. The Advisory Panel and writers
have been appointed and meet in Sydney on February 14th to get the
processs of developing a scope and sequence underway. Will send
through some information and Powerpoint for the beginning of the year
after the release.
ThiThe 21st Century Geography in Australian schools Google Group will
be rather active now that we have got through the time of getting
approval for the shape paper.
