How appalling.

Mary Ellen was one of my favorite people to be around. The world is a
poorer place with her gone.

This is indeed a tragedy, particularly given Mary Ellen's courageous (and
successful!) battle with breast cancer, which prevented her from joining us
in La Rioja in 2003.

Cognitive Linguistics in Europe
?
I have been asked to give a survey of work on Cognitive Linguistics in Europe to be published in the prestigious journal Gengo (Language). The survey should cover ongoing research and other activities at European research institutions and universities. Of special interest are ?uniquely European? strands of Cognitive Linguistics. I should be happy to receive any condensed information by email or mail.
