Was good talking to you and I’m excited to be a part of the forthcoming session; and to be of the best help I can.
The points of reflection to write for the team.
- What are the current 3 main business constraints/challenges for scaling and growth (sustainable growth) and how are you dealing with them? What is working and what is not?
- What are the challenges you face in your own thinking/approach that you feel blocks you?
- Reflect on your business from the point of view of the 3 circles of the hedgehog concept outlined in ‘Good to Great’ by Jim Collins. Is your business at the intersection of these three circles or are you on track to take it there. Please mention how. (This helps rethink, if the business is on the right track or if the direction needs any tweaking).
The preparation is meant to align each person to what he/she is seeking; as will serve as a means of co creating this session. The process of doing so itself will bring benefit to each participant as he/she tries to articulate it. Also, the topics that arise out of this are the ones we will focus more on; and through the experiences of my journey, I will share insights that have relevance.
Kindly share the profiles of people along with the above reflection points by Friday. Request them to start reflecting as soon as possible, as the more it stays in their mind, the more it will help.

I read the profiles and the comments. Here is my take for all of you.
‘Scaling’ is a lifelong topic for an entrepreneur.
I’m sure all of you have heard many stories and already have a lot of knowledge about the techniques of business and management; and so adding ‘Gyan’ may not serve the real objective of the session, which is to unblock the elements hindering growth and scale.
If this matters immensely to you at this point in your life, the level of introspection and preparation must match. What you put in, is what you will get out of it.
Our constraints and opportunities are created out of our past and external circumstances. However, the way we think shows us the path. If we falter in the way we address matters, it will lead us astray.
My role as a guru will be to bring out such elements that will question the thinking/beliefs leading to current status quo for each one; and thereby the session can be one of major catalytic change. If people really want something out of this engagement, they will need to be deeply involved in the preparation process and not treat this as just another event; rather they need to introspect deeply, state their issues and challenges adequately. This will help me address the right topics and touch the right chords.
