Summer

Full moon at noon and night coming soon.
Sun dark at bright of day and whiteness turns to gray.
What dismay enfolds over my soul and displays it as prey?
Pray, hold on a while and do not let me be beguiled.
Summer of hot nights rides on us majestic and proud.
Sounds of harsh breathing cushion our sleepless days
 And haze curls around us its forcible waves
In caves
Of hollow and dark thoughts
Caught from ageless ages.
Summer of all deceits is upon us:
Crucial, hypocritical.
Heat and sweat.
Naked bodies and naked souls roam naked, yellow sands.
Dust upon dirt and birth of unluckiest children
In unluckiest lands:
Deadliest and loneliest of all.
Summer of all inhumanities is upon us.
Tragic day-to-day atrocities encumber our lives.
Summer of all mischiefs is upon us.
Host to hordes of unwilling victims
Engulfed in tangling, thirsty waters.
Nothing matters anymore;
And nothing will ever matter;
Man's commerce is but Destiny's stutter....
