Hello everyone! This is my submission for the anthology.
This poem is unpublished.

    Summer's Color

This bright color that sun shares with us,
is the color of life.
When it falls over the plants and the buildings,
the reflection is a relief to the eyes.
Although the scorching heat tags along with it,
it walks over our head
making us tan and sweat,
and dehydrate us so well,
but the color of love belongs to this season.
How passionately that color is followed by the others,
all the flowers bloom just to see one another.
I like that floral designs meant to wear in these summers.
"Why does not it rains?" we cry on the baked days,
the only hope that bring in some relief
of a fresh cold wind.
Those air conditioners and hill stations,
are all the escapes we try for months,
how much we love winters,
we settle so quickly in cold weather.
A little warmth that we mention so loud,
have a small walk under this sun,
and come running under the shade of a canopy,
looking at the leaves, some drying,
some are dark green.
This color brings in faith in these months,
the sky welcomes another cycle of the earth.
