Saying hi to my fellow poets and to Dr Fab
This is my unpublished poem for summer.

"Fiery Longing of a Frozen ghost"

My spirit, a mammoth with enormous wings,
Flies to the golden lands,
There it learns to hope and dance,
On the glittery fields of wheat stands.

Grows wild as she smells the scarlet cherries,
Flies high as she sees the sky's yellow eye,
Shines bright as he caresses her skin,
Dances wild with winged ghosts of merriment.

She longs for warmth, for wild pouring rains,
longs for the greenest cliffs and foggiest hills,
For hairs tied with velvet flower chains,
Mouths filled with ripe apricots,
And sleepless breaths blowing on sleepy rills.

Yet she forgot how she belonged to the icy realms
How her essence was of frost
And not eager flames.

Got dissolved as the raging time came
There- I was scattered into air,
Dead, as a zinnia attacked by hail.
