Important update: Tax changes in Vietnam on November 1, 2026

SERVICE UPDATE

Hello Afrifa,

We would like to inform you of the following changes that will go into effect on November 1, 2026.

Vietnam law requires Google to withhold taxes on certain payments that Google makes to you. If you are located outside of Vietnam and offer paid app or in-app purchases on Google Play, Google will deduct 5% of withholding tax (WHT) on your gross sales revenues from transactions with Vietnam end users for sales starting from November 1, 2026.
