Hello WAADEers!

I am emailing to see if any of you wonderful people (or wonderful people you know) would be interested in working the farmers market a few days this month.

I work for Starvation Alley Farms which is Washington's first and currently only organic cranberry farm. We sell a raw unsweetened and undiluted juice and frozen organic berries. I am headed out of town for two weeks and need to cover the market while I'm away.

The dates I'm looking to fill are April 12th, 13th and April 19th, 20th. We pay $100 per market plus 2 bottles of juice (valued at $22 each) that you can keep and/or trade with other vendors for some yummy veggies.

This summer we are looking to hire another market staff full time so while this is a needs based fill-in position it can certainly grow into something more permanent in a few months.

This upcoming weekend I can meet with folks for about two hours at either the U-District Market or the Ballard Market and I can walk through how to run a market. The markets are super fun and are a great way to engage with people and build community.

If you are interested in covering any of these days please contact me either by phone or email. Thanks a bunch and hope to see you all sometime soon!

Be well,
Nick

Hello Nick,

I am interested in covering a couple of those days! And I might know a couple of other people who would be interested as well. I might be available early in the morning on this Saturday and all day on Sunday. Would any of those times work?

Thanks,
Nyonjo
