Questions - Secondary Construction Management Competition

The Charles J. Colgan, Sr. High School respectfully asks the following questions in relationship to the Construction Management competition:

1. Problem Description Secondary Programs Document: The first drawing requirement for the Construction Management competition calls for a “Smart House Framing Detail.” Is this requirement for the entire house including every wall (exterior and interior), and the roof truss detail? Please explain.

2. Problem Description Secondary Programs Document: The requirement for a Site Plan drawing is noticeably missing from the Construction Management competition requirements. Is a Site Plan not required for this year’s Construction Management Competition?

3. A window and door schedule was not noted in the plans. Is there a window and door schedule.

1. The Problem statement is asking teams to recreate the "Smart House Framing Detail" that can be found on the right side of Sheet No. 3 above the CCS Framing Detail.

2. Correct. Drawing the Site Plan is not required for this year's Secondary Construction Management Competition.

3. There is not a window and door schedule. The window and door sizes can be found on Sheet No. 2
