Are we allowed to contact the Tallapoosa county for getting a list of subcontractor to be able to select our subs.

Teams shouldn’t contact government offices directly affiliated with the project for project-specific information. If you need a general list of local subcontractors/tradepartners, you can reach out to the local Home Builders Association (HBA) or look up local trade partners through public online directories.

We are having hard time to get a publicly available source for the Tallapoosa Cnty HBA local trade partners while there are info on the adjacent counties. Would we be able to say that we are using the close-by county trade partners? Or do these have to be just from Tallapoosa County?

My team has ben having a hard time finding HBA approved trade partners as well

It is recommended that teams explain their process and strategy for trade partner identification, selection, and management, including how they will identify the local HBA chapter and utilize its members for trade partner selection. If specific trade partner names or detailed local information are not available, it is acceptable not to list individual firms. Teams should clearly describe their intended approach and state any assumptions you are making.
