Hello: I am interested in putting together a panel that highlights research and project relationships between practice and academia,  their reciprocal impacts, and values to larger communities.

Hi Terry,

I'm wondering whether you have been able to put this panel together. I think that I may have a speaker/topic that would fit nicely.

Last spring our firm built a tool that maps agency-blind parks and recreation opportunities in Oregon, reporting crowding and daily COVID prevalence, helping the public make informed decisions about engaging in public space. This was a collaborative, community benefit project with a novel approach, and was accomplished in collaboration with Joan Nassauer's lab at University of Michigan. Here's a link to the case study on our site.

Our speaker for the project would actually not be myself, but Michael Yun, principal here at Knot. I know it is very last minute, but do let me know if you think this might work and I can set up a call to discuss it further.

Thanks!
