Greetings from the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai.

 

June 8th is Student Visa Day at the Consulate.  On this day we celebrate students coming to the United States to pursue their studies, and we are dedicating our interview slots to potential student travelers.  Applicants arriving for their interviews on this day will be able to experience a festive, collegiate atmosphere on the Consulate premises.  Staff from the Consulate and the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) will be on hand to answer questions.  Education experts will also provide tips and information on academics and campus life to ensure students’ success in the United States. 

 

Please spread this message to the students of your institute and encourage them to apply for their visa interview on this day, if they wish.  Please note there will be no change in the application and visa process, and applicants interviewing on this day will be adjudicated as normal.
