NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Further to earlier notices sent to Members, it is hereby confirmed that the 2016 Annual General Meeting of the Institute will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10:00am in the CLOGSAG Hall, Civil and Local Government Service Staff Building, Ministries, Accra.
The AGENDA shall be as follows:
Part A: General Business
1. Roll Call and Proxies
2. Report of the Institute for the year 2016
3. To ratify the proposed amendments to the IIA Constitution
4. Accounts of the Institute and Report of the External Auditors
5. Appointment of Auditors for Year 2017 and to Authorise the Council Institute to determine the remuneration of the External Auditors
Part B: Election of Officers 2017-2019
6. Election of Officers to Council (President, Vice President and Seven (7) Councillors)
7. Swearing in of Newly Elected Council
8. Remarks by newly elected President
Part C: Closure of Meeting
9. Any Other Business
10. Closure of AGM by Outgoing President
All Members are required to be present. Only Members in Good Standing may contest for positions or participate in deliberations during the Meeting. Members are to confirm their status with the Secretariat ahead of the Elections.
The following are attached or will be circulated by the Secretariat. Members may also request for same from the Secretariat : the 2016 Annual Financial Statements, Proposed Constitutional Amendments, Guidelines for the IIA Ghana 2017 Council Elections, Nomination Forms for the election of Officers and Proxy Forms for Members unable to attend the AGM.
