Hey!
I sent out way too many emails...but added the content right here (sites/links, and lessons):

http://www.filmcanisterrockets.com/
$13-14 per 30/40 cannisters -- this is IF we cannot locate any and IF you all want to keep w/the cannisters and we don't find a good replacement...not sure this site can accomodate - but worth a try...take a look and see if it's useful :)

Another site -- AND has a link to get the cannisters....IF we fail to get them locally or an alternative - this site also has a PDF that could be used. This site has a LINK:  https://sciencebob.com/build-a-film-canister-rocket/

...and alt idea:
Ooooo....I also see another opportunity for MESS:  (from an instructor who 'added to this experiment'...they said:
"Kids will find the Alka-Seltzer thrilling, and can learn about chemistry and physics by observing what takes place.  If you bring a timer, you can try experiments like using hot or cold water, more or les fuel, and so on.  You can also turn this into an art project by adding some tempera paint into the mixture and setting the rockets on top of a piece of paper.  When the rockets take off, they will spatter paint in a cool explosive pattern on the paper that you used as a launch pad.  Have fun with this one, and try not to make too big a mess!"
