Immediate Action Items

1. Please select your availability for the August meeting at http://bit.ly/2014ConfAug.
2. All members of the conference committee are encouraged to help get the word out to potential sponsors. Along with the official sponsorship brochure, there is a 2-page Sponsor and Partner Organization Outreach sheet to guide committee members as they reach out to sponsors and a blog post on the APAPASE blog. WE ARE BEHIND IN TERMS OF FUNDRAISING.

Continuous and subcommittee action items

3. Make any suggestions, changes or updates in the list of active committee members
4. Sign up for the Google Group email list serve for the full 2014 Conference Committee and any subcommittees
5. Subcommittees (and anyone else interested) should work on follow up items in the notes
   1. Karen T. will share Delaware Riverfront Parking (done).
   2. Justin D. will share the budget.
   3. Sarah B. will work with the Jessica D. to finish the draft press release.
   4. Martha C. will follow up with the Mayor’s office to try to get a quote for press releases.
   5. Martha C. will work to finish up the restaurant guide updates and supply them to DVRPC
   6. Susan M. will share the PCVB templates and update them
   7. Susan M. will put in a request for a letter from the Mayor’s office for the final program
   8. John F. will look at the speaker sessions and estimate which ones may qualify for engineering credits
   9. Emerging Professionals Committee will finalize pricing for quizzo.
   10. Emerging Professioanls and Special Events Committee will make suggestions for the SE section awards ceremony
