The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio connects college students with a range of civic engagement opportunities at area nonprofits. CCEL is currently hiring for a Coordinator to serve as the front-line contact for visitors to CCEL, ensure smooth functioning of the CCEL office, and connect students to civic engagement opportunities and resources. The position promotes and coordinates community service opportunities by assisting drop-in students, managing community service fairs, coordinating on-campus blood drives, creating the weekly departmental e-newsletter, and coordinating non-partisan political engagement activities, including voter registration. The position also oversees the scheduling, use, and maintenance of the CCEL van fleet; maintains the department’s financial transactions; and supervises CCEL’s student office assistants. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience.
