update: broncos soccer game on 9/21

Hi Parents,

I am afraid there were some unexpected scheduling mixup for the fan activities and some other team got the mini game for 9/21. I am exploring options to see if the boys can still have a opportunity to play. this is very unfortunate. I know the kids are going to be disappointed.

I spoke with coordinator at the university and he was very apologetic and is trying to do his best to give the kids a great time (escorts for players, national anthem and posters/autographs at the end + free tickets for players) He would understand if we want to pull out. I still feel that it would be a good experience for the kids. Please let me know if want to change your mind. I am expecting a call from him tomorrow around noon time but I am not too optimistic that we will have a chance to play. I explored other dates as well and at this time there is only one other day (Oct 7) and the game starts at 7pm which makes it hard for U6 boys.

Hi Ramki,

Did you hear back from the coordinator?

I personally feel like the kids would have a much better time playing
rather than escorting. I dont know how the other other parents feel
but if I had to choose one over the other i would rather do the 7pm
game on Oct 7. The mini game would be done by 8 pm or so if they play
at half time which would work fine for us.

Given the change, we are in if the kids get to play but will cancel if
they are not playing the mini game.

As we discussed during the practice session on tuesday we are are skipping the 9/21 event. 

Aryan's dad (Amit) is interested in 10/7 (Sunday) game at 7pm.  We need to be in the stadium by 6pm and can leave soon after 8 (after the mini game). Is this something the group is interested in? Shakeel, how about your team? If there is good interest and we can confirm soon we may be able to make it happen for 10/7. Can you send me a quick yes/no today?

We are confirmed for 10/7. Yay!!

The players get in free. Parents and other joining the game can get group tickets for $4 each. 

I will get player tickets for all the players (both teams) and can get the tickets for parents/siblings for my team. Shakeel, can you coordinate getting tickets for folks in your team (i think it will be easier).
