Hi,

We are opening the registrations for the following 2 programs to all students (including M.Tech and MCA and 2014 and 2013 batches) on first come first serve basis. 

1. Embedded systems

2. Linux internals and Android OS programming

(6th semester students who want to transfer from Infosys connect to any one of these programs can do so by paying the difference in the accounts section).

These program includes training+placements assistance (see the enclosed writeup for details). This is being conducted by Cranes Varsity which is one of the eminent training provider in this area. The placement assistance will be in the form of minimum guaranteed placement opportunities via cranes varsity in core companies. (See details in the attached file). This assistance is applicable to all students who have registered so far as well.

Both the programs will run in parallel from 05 July to 18th July. The Linux part of the second course will be taught by CMRIT faculty. Both are hands on courses with lots of Lab sessions on hardware.

Fees:

1. Embedded Systems: Rs. 6000 (5400 if you attend all sessions on time)

2. Linux Internals and Android OS Programming: Rs. 5000 (4500 if you attend all sessions on time)

Participation Discount explanation: If you attend all the session on time, you will get a participation discount of Rs.600 for Embedded systems, and Rs. 500 for Linux internals and Android OS programming courses. This will be refunded to you at the end of the program. The amount of discount corresponding to those who missed session, will be used for PREPARE course awards. For example, if 100 students register for course and 90 attend all sessions, those 90 students will get refund of Rs. 600 thereby making course fee as Rs 5400 Only. The amount corresponding to 10 students who miss one or more sessions (10*600 = Rs 6000), will be used for awards. On the net, college will not keep any money out of these sessions, but sponsor the programs in terms of Labs, time of faculty members, miscellaneous expenses etc.

Registration:

• At the accounts section 
• by cash
• during working hours till Tuesday, 1st of July. On Monday 30th June, accounts section will be open till 6 PM.
  

Counter by Cranes varsity for clarifications:

• Cranes varsity will have a counter to clarify your doubts on 30th June and 3rd July.
