Sir what are the serial com ports available in the spartan 3 board
provided to us? It generally has an RS-232 port. But does it have any
usb com port?

And sir, from what I understand, the voltage levels of RS232c (max
-15V to 15V, min -3V to 3V) and TTL (0V and 5V) are different. So will
there be any need of external voltage translator( I2C) or is it
already in the board?

@Shubham:
Are u panning 2 take use bacode sensors and code algo for reading and decoding it..or just code only the decoding part?

@all:
  1. Distribute the features to be implemented or  the work to be done in project, amongst group members.
  2. Go through the table of contents of user manual at below link:
    http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/boards_and_kits/ug130.pdf
  3. Sort out topics relevant to your  selected project.
  4. Accordingly, distribute the topics amongst yourself to be read.
  5. Code, implement and test on Spartan 3 kit together, with each one contributing his/her part.
PS:
  • Check out the revised dates for final demo.
  • Plz let us know if any group when any group has problem with programming on kit. You can refer to Spartan 3 series maual shared earlier for it.
