Hii all,

Plz issue spartan3 kits from Embedded lab to test your design. 1 kit will be issued per 5/6 groups. So, issue it today itself so that u all  are ready for final demo on next Tuesday/ Wednesday.

Sir
Do we have to implement the elevator controller project on spartan
kit? We were given its demo once but we haven't used it ever. Using it
for the first time and then giving demo the same day, I think it would
be difficult for anyone.
Kindly look into the matter.

The lab staff clearly refused to issue the kits to us. They said that since we are not in friday batch, we cannot enter the lab and no queries of ours shall be entertained.

@all:

Spartan3 kits will be issued to all only from 10am to 1pm on Monday(23/4/2012). All the groups should be ready with their VDHL code before 10am so that u can test it on the kit.

NOTE:

1. No one will get kit on any other time slot, so do not miss.
2. We will take final demo/viva on tuesday during lab.

Plz manage some how to utilise this time slot as the lab incharge is not ready to give kits in afternoon slot due lab of other cycles.

So are we required to test our VHDL code using the spartan3 kit during the same time slot i.e between 10am to 1pm, and return it then and there.?Because given the single demonstration at spartan3 we were given its a pretty tough job for 5/6 groups to complete the same in the given time slot .Waiting for an early reply,

We have classes during that time slot...To issue and run on spartan kit will definitely take more time...that too with 11 groups doing simultanously on 4 kits....please split the 11 groups...and allot some other time..may b tuesday..

@Keshav:
If u want us to split group for using kits then it wl be as under:
Kit 1=> Groups 1-3
Kit 2=> Group 4-6
Kit 3=> Group 7-9
Kit 4=> Group 10-11

Other option is , you all can distribute among yourself  with 2-3 groups using one kit.

We cannot provide another slot due reasons mentioned earlier. Moreover, you have to give final demo on tuesday as this will be the last lab.

Time of quiz: 6 to 7 pm
Date: 25.4.12
Venue: WS204, WS209 and WS213

There are many students of group 5 indicated that they have got lab test
of EEP204 followed by a quiz on 25th,
hence for them only:

Please ask the Lab Coordinator of another slot. (maybe also allow tueday morning same time)...as we have classes during that period...

9:30 - 11:00 -- HUL (attendance policy)

11:00-12:00 -- EEL (can have a quiz also)

12:00-1::00 -- MAL (imp topic to be discussed in lecture)
