I passed as well!!! However, my results were all over the map...I must have dominated FRA and Equity.

Passed, nice job everyone!

Matrix wasn't the prettiest ever but ill take it!

For those who didn't pass don't sweat it. Just taking it with 4 months notice is impressive, you'll crush it next round.

I didn't pass, I kind of know it would happen right after the exam.
I'll have to retake it.
Guys, what material you think is the most helpful in your preparation?
I've done all the EOC questions and quite a few mock exams, any
suggestions/tips you have for me?

If I were to do it again, EOC qns multiple times + don't skip any obscure section + know some material cold. Do all CFAI sample and mock, schweser is optional if you have enough time.

I'd say blue box questions were pretty pivotal in actually understanding the concepts, but starting early was the most important. I agree that you need to do the EOC q's multiple times. I did them early on in my process, and thought I'd re-do some of the main study sessions but I realized that I lost a lot of the knowledge from the first time. So lots of repetition is needed since there's so much material.

My technique:

1. Watched Schweser Video
2. Read Schweser & solved CFAI EoC

In the last month & half, took about 5-6 practise tests - Schweser, CFAI etc - was scoring >70 consistently towards D day

Used the Schweser workbook slides for final revision

Would have put in around 300 hours in the 4 months starting from February

Passed :) Matrix not as good as L1, and the 105 min wait for the results was torture, but still, pass :) well done everyone,

Thanks for the response. I can come up with many excuses, in the end,
I probably didn't have the highest commitment of study. A part of me
is still trying to take chances.

In terms of the feeling that you are ready, would you say getting 70%
comfortably in the CFAI mock exams is the bottom-line?

Congrats on everyone that passes.

At the risk of jinxing myself, does anyone know what percent of people who attempt to pass all three levels in 18 months do it successfully? I have heard that only 11% pass all three levels without failing, but my guess is that most of these people take a full two years.

To do it in eighteen months, wouldn't you have I do no studying at all for the December Level 1? I started studying in Sept 2011, my best completion would be June 2013, 21 months all in.

Let's face it we are all Greek Gods.  Under 2 years to pass these things means we are better than your average bear in all respects of life, right?

I'm over this.
Ordered Lvl3 material, not as thick as lvl2 and quite a change in their look.

Tell me when we have a new group for lvl3 :)

I can't register until I renew my passport, the application process
stopped me there. But I've gotten started on reviewing all of last
year's LOSs and have most of the full text to get serious with now...

I probably won't go full steam until after mid-Nov. I have to write the FRM exam first.

I just like to have the books around early to keep me focused. Looks like a lots of reading comprehension and memorising this time. Not my favourite !

What do you think?
